Poppy Trio - 2 day workshop

CLASS DESCRIPTION:  Each Iceland Poppy vignette in this Poppy Trio began as a watercolor painting.  The paintings are transferred onto Transfer Artist Paper, then to canvas.  Instructions on how to complete the Transfer process are included with two hands-on in class.  Silk and cotton floss and silk perles are used to stitch each one. Each poppy is stitched with a fun "simple sketching" technique.  Patterns for the sky, field and borders include several embroidery stitches translated to canvas.  All three canvases are included; however, only one will be stitched during the workshop.

PROFICIENCY LEVEL: Intermediate

FINISHED SIZE:  EACH is 3” square, not including borders. 

GROUND FABRIC:  18 count white mono canvas.
